Cheribundi Giveaway & Review

As promised yesterday, to help celebrate the month building up to my first half marathon, we are going to be doing a giveaway a week, so I can share with you the great products I have been privileged to try and use in my training!

The first giveaway is for a mixed case of Cheribundi!! This stuff is so good! There is a reason Cherries go on top of Sundaes, it's because they are the Bomb!

The awesome people over at Cheribundi sent me a mixed case of 5 different cherry juices to try out. Besides being delicious cherries are a super fruit, they help your body recover and heal faster after exercise and help you to sleep better! This juice has been perfect for me during my training. I have been increasing the miles and my muscles need all the help they can get recovering. I have not tried all 5 of the juices yet, but will be and will surely share my thoughts on those as well. So what have I tried so far?

Cacao Cherry  This was the obvious first choice for me! You can never have enough chocolate in your life. I used the juice to make a smoothie. Cacao Cherry, 1 banana and 5 ice cubes! I drank this after one of my morning runs! It was delicious! There was a tartness too it, blended with the banana it made for the perfect smoothie.

Skinny Cherry  is made with 40 cherries and 1/3 fewer calories than the True Cherry. I drank skinny cherry on ice, it was truly the perfect refreshing drink. It was not to tart and had the perfect taste of cherry. I think I even liked it better than the Cacao Cherry (crazy, I know)

Tru Cherry  Being the awesome friend that I am, I shared this juice with my co-worker. We paired it was the Cherry Pie Larabar! It was a great mid-day snack. The juice was a little tart for my liking, I think I would prefer it mixed with something or used in a smoothie! It was good, just "lip-puckering" at first.

I think the Tru Cherry would make a great mix for a home made Cherry Limeade or I saw online that somebody poured it over vanilla ice cream and ate it that way. I am going to try both of these and will report back!

Whey Cherry  I drank the Whey Cherry this morning, after a weekend of 2 runs. Yesterday I ran 9.15 miles and today 3.1 miles. That is a lot for me in one weekend. According to their website, Whey Cherry offers you 45 cherries, 8 grams of whey protein and helps with a speedy recovery. The Whey Cherry tasted great straight out of the bottle, cold and refreshing!

Ginger Cherry  Honestly I have not tried this flavor yet. I was a little scared of it. But while typing this review I remembered Ginger is great to treat nausea. There are a couple of times this past week I have been nauseas. These are going in the fridge immediately and next time I feel icky, Im going to grab a bottle.

The research is out there. Cherries or Cherry Juice is proven to help reduce inflammation and specifically in long distance runners, it has been shown to reduce inflammation and aid in recovery.

A great way to prove the power of the product is to see who supports and endorses the product. Cheribundi has a list of sports teams that use their product. If you look under the NCAA listing, you will see that a lot of colleges we all know use it, you will have to look 1/2 way down the list to see that the National Champions, the best, the University of ALABAMA, the Crimson Tide, stands behind the brand. Now we should all forgive Cheribundi for listing the #1 team in the nation half way down the list. They were clearly alphabetizing, however, if they put #1 in front, then Alabama would clearly be at the TOP!! Others include Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, University of Florida, the list goes on and on)

Ok, so on to the good part, the giveaway! Cheribundi graciously agreed to provide a mixed case to my followers. I have about half of my case left and will be using them in my last month of training to help me recover from my long runs. I want one of you to be able to enjoy this juice as well!

Here's how you can get in on the fun!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Cheribundi provided me with a free mixed case to review, I was not compensated in any way and all opinions of Cheribundi and football team support is mine and mine alone! Roll Tide!

Edit:  Contest is open to Continental US residents only!
