weekly chase

Weekly Chase
I have been so blessed to be a part of the Weekly Chase, this was started by Melissa over at Live, Love & Run I have been introduced to a lot of great bloggers through this post and love reading everyone's goals for the week and then checking in the next Monday to see how they did!

I have been focusing on staying true to myself, keeping a good balance in life and maintaining my "roles" in life before focusing on anything else.  I have really had an easier time doing so, these 3 things are going to stay my main focus, because when they are, everything else falls into place:

1. Be the best mom and wife that I can
2. Be an accurate and valuable employee
3. Being an uplifting and supportive friend, family member and running partner.

Being a mom to 4 kids ranging in grades from 9th - 2nd, leaves me super busy and stretched to the limit. Making sure I keep these 3 things in top priority will help me stay centered.

Last week Goals:

#1.  Survive Issac!  We all survived Issac, in our area we were lucky to only have limited flooding and a few days of rain/wind storms. I know not everyone was that lucky. Please keep those affected in your thoughts and prayers.

#2.  Continue to simplify my life, staying on top of chores and school work I have been doing good at this. It does help that I was home 2 days during the week. I plan to stay on top of everything each day,so I dont get overwhelmed.

#3.  Promote my blog! I am working on this. I am looking into some areas that I would like to be involved and waiting to hear back.

This weeks goals:

#1.  Stay on top of my September writing challenge and the #squatsept challenge.

#2.  Get in all of my runs and get ready for the 12 mile run this weekend. I need to get plenty of rest, eat properly and focus on positive vibes!

#3.  Get prepared for my two September birthdays this month. Collin will be 14 on the 15th and Sydnee will be 11 on the 27th!

Im keeping it pretty simple this week again. I will be doing this until I feel like my head isn't spinning anymore!

Have a great week!
